Monica Stach, business associate, Park Avenue Medical Center, won the Great Catch Award after ensuring a patient received the correct procedure. A patient was booked for surgery on her left eyelid, but when Stach asked the patient which eye was being treated, the patient said it was her right eye. In reviewing the booking information, Stach saw the discrepancy. She shared her concerns with leaders, who reviewed and updated the booking.
