On Dec. 13, Yale New Haven Health and Bridgeport Hospital leaders cut the ribbon on a retail pharmacy will offer integrated, personalized pharmacy services for patients, employees and the community. The pharmacy, in the hospital lobby, will be open seven days a week. “As retail pharmacies in general are reducing hours or closing down, this pharmacy provides an access point and another choice for community and hospital patients,” said LeeAnn Miller, PharmD, vice president and chief pharmacy officer, YNHHS. The Bridgeport Hospital retail pharmacy is YNHHS’ sixth. It will open in the coming months.
