Northwest 7 reaches CAUTI milestone

Congratulations to the Northwest 7 (NW 7) staff for going 2,000 days without a catheter-associated urinary tract infection (CAUTI). “This milestone is a testament to the hard work and questioning attitude we practice to ensure the safest care possible for our patients,” said Kara Burdick, RN, nurse manager. “We are proud of our collaboration with providers to prevent harm by only using catheters when absolutely necessary.”
