The Milford Campus Intensive Care Unit recently joined the 1,000-Day Club, going 1,000 days without a catheter-associated urinary tract infection (CAUTI). “This demonstrates the MC ICU’s culture of safety and exceptional care they provide on a daily basis,” said Peggy Simonette, RN, nurse manager of the Milford Campus ICU and SWAT/IV RN Team. “The recognition in an ICU setting shows the incredible dedication our team has to patient safety and quality outcomes,” added Michele Velush, RN, ICU assistant nurse manager.
