Hospital hosts weekly farm stand
Bridgeport Hospital continues to host its weekly farm stand on Thursdays at 200 Mill Hill Ave., Bridgeport. The farm stand is open from 3:30 to 5:30 pm, through October 13.
The first 25 customers each week will receive a $5 voucher for produce. Cash, credit/debit, senior and WIC Farmers Market checks are accepted; SNAP/EBT cards are also accepted and dollars are doubled.
Monthly community food distribution continues
Bridgeport Hospital hosts a monthly food distribution at its Bridgeport campus, 200 Mill Hill Ave., the third Tuesday of every month at 5:30 pm. Each family will receive one bag of food while supplies last. Bags contain milk, eggs and fresh produce.
Bariatric Weight-Loss Surgery – English – Webinar
Learn about the latest developments in weight-loss surgery from a YNHHS-accredited bariatric surgeon at a webinar on Tuesday, August 30, from 6 to 7:30 pm. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation. Open to anyone 18 – 75 years of age who is interested in learning about bariatric procedures.
