Alarms you may hear

At Bridgeport Hospital we continually test our alarm system to ensure optimum safety for patients, visitors, and staff. Don't be concerned if you hear some of these tests on our overhead speakers. Should a true emergency occur, our hospital staff will know just what to do and will provide specific instructions.

Patient Privacy

Concern for the privacy of our patients is of primary concern for Bridgeport Hospital. For this reason, we may be unable to share all patient information with all family members. We know you share our concern and will understand our desire to protect our patients.

Living Wills and Healthcare Decision-Making

Patients who need information about, or would like to execute, an advance directive (living will, and/or designation of healthcare representative) are invited to speak with the caregivers on their unit.
