Benjamin Rudnick, MD

Benjamin Rudnick, MD, a fellowship-trained urologist, prides himself on providing compassionate care with a patient-centered approach. In addition to general urology, Dr. Rudnick specializes in robotic surgery for the treatment of urologic cancers and reconstruction of the urinary tract. His other interests include treating benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and kidney stones using a combination of dietary/lifestyle modifications, medical therapy, and minimally invasive surgeries when indicated.

Dr. Rudnick earned his medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He continued his surgical training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital for his general surgery internship and urology residency. Dr. Rudnick also completed a one-year fellowship in robotic surgery at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, New Jersey, where he gained expertise using both the da Vinci Xi® and da Vinci SP® (single port) robotic surgical systems. He performs surgeries at Bridgeport Hospital and Milford Campus of Bridgeport Hospital.
