Adil Salam, MD

Adil Salam, MD, is a board-certified pulmonary and sleep physician, providing care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Dr. Salam offers a warm and collaborative approach to patient care and is committed to delivering comprehensive medical care to patients and their clinical needs. His areas of clinical interest include sleep apnea, asthma, hypertension (HTN) and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). He performs diagnostic procedures including bronchoscopy and arranges home sleep studies for patients who need help with nocturnal continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy.Dr. Salam attended medical school at University of Punjab Allama Igbal Medical College in Pakistan. He then completed his internal medicine residency at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Dr. Salam then completed his pulmonary fellowship at Bridgeport Hospital. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and walking on the beach. Dr. Salam is board-certified in internal medicine and pulmonary medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) and sleep medicine by the American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM). He is fluent in English, Punjabi and Urdu and speaks intermediate Hindi.
