BRIDGEPORT, CT – Nearly 100 Bridgeport Hospital-affiliated physicians and more than 300 from across YNHHS have been selected by their state colleagues to be included in Connecticut Magazine’s 2016 Top Doctors listing.
“In a time of major change in healthcare, it is more important than ever for hospitals to work with outstanding physicians,” said Chief Medical Officer Michael Ivy, MD. “We are very fortunate at Bridgeport Hospital to have so many excellent physicians and surgeons on our staff. We are grateful to all of them for working with us to provide great care.”
The magazine conducted an annual survey of more than 5,000 doctors, asking them to recommend a doctor other than themselves to whom they would send a loved one for expert medical care. The responses produced a list of more than 800 doctors in over 30 specialties.
