Nursing in the Community

Bridgeport Hospital nurses demonstrate their commitment to our communities’ health and wellness through a wide variety of volunteer activities. They hold key positions in local organizations, participate in community events and organize collection drives for those in need.

Special Olympics

Each year, BH nurses provide health expertise and compassionate care to ensure athletes’ well-being throughout the Special Olympics. In addition to donating their time and expertise, nurses help build a community that embraces diversity, celebrates differences and uplifts every individual.
