|Bridgeport, CT—Paul Miller, owner of Miller Nissan in Fairfield and a trustee of the Norma F. Pfriem Foundation, has always been a supporter of community organizations that make a difference to those in need. Two organizations that have been very important to him are The Norma F. Pfriem Breast Care Center and Bridgeport Hospital.

When he learned that the Breast Care Center had been chosen as one of this year’s beneficiaries of the Fairfield Christmas Tree Festival, he wanted to do something to help make the Festival a success. On Nov. 9, he and the other trustees of the Norma F. Pfriem Foundation presented a check of $30,000 to Moira Sargent, president of the Fairfield Christmas Tree Festival.
“This was a very unexpected and generous gift,” says Sargent. “The Foundation’s endorsement means a lot to us and our beneficiaries.”
Each year, the Fairfield Christmas Tree Festival holds a holiday festival to benefit charities in Fairfield County. This year the festival committee chose two organizations, the Breast Care Center and the Cardinal Shehan Center. The two organizations will collaborate on a breast health outreach program. With the help of the Fairfield Christmas Tree Festival, they have been able to form a partnership more rapidly then they would have on their own.
